TAMAR TELEM SHAFIR

President

Tamar has a PhD in Chemistry (focus on Nanotechnology). Having worked in the Life Sciences industry for the past 6 years she had advised research units in numerous companies. Among her clients were Pharma giants, biotechs, start-ups and academic institutes.

Tamar has gained start-up exposure working for ProteOptics, a start-up in her home country Israel, which was later bought by Bio-Rad Laboratories Ltd. Following from her experience working in start-up environments and industry giants (GE Healthcare), Tamar is now interested in private equity and venture capital investments.

RICHARD GUY

Vice President

Richard is currently a full-time MBA student at Imperial College.  He holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham.  Prior to studying at Imperial, Richard worked for 7 years as a Consultant in the Technical industry with a wide ranging number of high profile and high-tech companies.

Through leading and growing multi-million pound value contracts, Richard has an extensive experience of Project Management, Service Delivery and Account Management and his most recent project was working as part of the management team responsible for delivering the London Olympic and Paralympic Games.

MARIO DJENDOV

PR & Media Director

Mario is currently undertaking his MBA degree at Imperial College Business School. Further he holds an MSc in Financial Markets and Institutions Management from Bocconi University in Milan

Prior to joining Imperial College London in 2012, Mario has worked in the financial services industry in the past 6 years, holding different positions  across Europe and most recently working in the capacity of Relationship Manager with top-tier financial institutions.

ASHNA RAMDENEE

Events Director
Ashna has a 3 years work experience in Foreign exchange trading and Wealth Management consulting.
She has led valuation of a private bank and created reports that secured financing from a German Investment Bank and
worked across five departments to support new industries and portfolio growth.
